The Maytag Man is now more sharable than ever!
Earlier this week, the Maytag Social Strategy team launched the official Maytag Giphy page at giphy.com/maytag.
The launch of this page is the result of finding a creative way to integrate the Maytag Man in pop-culture conversations. GIFs have become a new way to communicate, and this fun form of media can get an entire message across in seconds. What differentiates a gif from a “like” is the tie into human emotions such as humor, sadness, and the ever popular, “YAS.” People go to Giphy to search keywords like “happy” “funny” and “haha” in hopes of finding the perfect gif to share with their audience.

With Twitter & Facebook’s recent partnership with Giphy, fans can now seamlessly share the Maytag Man GIFs on their social channels. The team has already seen fans using the Maytag GIFs in their Twitter conversations. We’re excited to continue pushing the Maytag Man further in pop-culture conversations, and bring this iconic character to more user home feeds.
Check out the Maytag Man on Giphy and start sharing his awesome gifs.
